Lakers recognized as OCCAC All-Academic

The Lakeland Lakers recently had twenty-eight student-athletes recognized as Academic All-Conference by the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) for the Fall 2020 semester. The Lakers experienced a significant increase from the previous fall when thirteen Lakers were recognized. To qualify for the award, a student-athlete needed to maintain a minimum of nine credit hours (adjusted from twelve due to the pandemic) at a 3.30 G.P.A. or higher. Though athletics were suspended for the fall semester, we are proud to recognize the following student-athletes that were able to maintain this level of excellence in their studies:

Volleyball

Derria Grant, Anna Lewis, Janice Robinson, Jordan Vencill

Women's Soccer

Denver Falz, Zoe Haffa, Natalie Pawlowski, Giana Sobonya, Mercedes Tabler, Sarah Turniski

Women's Basketball
