Lakeland to host a National Softball Academy winter softball camp

Lakeland Community College will be the host to a National Softball Academy winter softball camp in January.

National Softball Academy (NSA) preseason camps provide young players a unique opportunity to take their game to the next level. NSA camps are designed to develop skills in all facets of the game with an emphasis on teaching proper fundamentals and techniques. Sessions are available in hitting, pitching, fielding and catching.

The camp will be on each Sunday in the month of January and has sessions for first graders through 12th grade. Four weeks of instruction can be as low as $99 with a 3Play Discount. There is also a $20 off coupon with the discount code: FLYER2019.

The camp will be operated by Lakeland softball coach Jeff Morganti and his coaching staff and will feature a low player-to-coach ratio.
