Lakers drop game at Express

Lakeland traveled to the SHAC center at Owens Community College Wednesday night to play the NJCAA second ranked Express. This was a difficult assignment for the Lakers and they fell 102-31. The already shorthanded Lakers lost another player, Alicia Sephus, in the first half to injury. Patricia Cistrunk recorded 13 points and 6 blocks for the Lakers. Freshman Brianna Prugel added 10 points for the Lakers. On the boards, Cary Morin and Kayla Zarbock led the way with 9 and 8 rebounds respectively.

The Lakers will travel to Cincinnati State Saturday, Feb. 25, in a 1 p.m. match-up. The final game of the season is scheduled for Saturday, March 4, as the Lakers will play host to the Challengers of Cuyahoga Community College. The tip is scheduled for 1 p.m. Admission is free to the game.
