SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Three student-athletes received OCCAC Basketball Player of the Week distinction on Monday (Jan. 28). Delesha Jackson (Lakeland) and Whitney Thames (Owens) are the female honorees while Tre'maine Gray of Sinclair snagged the D-II men's accolade.

Jackson converted on 22-of-31 (71%) field goal attempts and hit 11-of-14 foul shots to average 18.5 points per game. She also hauled in 8.5 rebounds during two contests for the Lakers. Jackson recorded eight steals and four assists as well.
This marks Lakeland's second recognition of 2018-19 following Selah Richardson's selection on Dec. 17.
Lakeland (13-6, 6-1) will next play at Columbus State Community College on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 5:30 p.m.
