The Lakeland Lady Lakers were at it again on Saturday as they traveled to Springfield, OH to take on the Clark State Eagles. The Lakers then extended their defense in the second half to help quicken the pace of the game. When they did, it created more scoring opportunities which they were able to capitalize on. This effort allowed the Lakers to blitz the Eagles 44-17 in the half. With a final of 80-44, the Lakers improved their record to 21-1 and 9-0 in the conference. Gardy's Gab: "This was a tough road win for us. It's difficult to ride for so long, get off a bus, and play at a high level. However, that's what good teams do. We need to remain focused on our goals and not become complacent. With B&S coming up, we'll need to focus a bit better moving forward."
