Lakeland Athletics seeks nominations for its 2025 Hall of Fame class, celebrating individuals who have demonstrated exceptional athletic achievement, extraordinary service, or significant contributions to the college's athletic program. The induction ceremony is slated for January 2026.
Lakeland's rich athletic history is built upon the dedication and talent of its student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and community supporters. The Hall of Fame serves to honor these distinguished individuals, ensuring their legacies inspire future generations of Lakeland Lakers.
Eligibility Criteria for Nomination:
Individuals are eligible for consideration based on the following guidelines:
- Student-Athletes:

- Named All-American
- Won an NJCAA National Championship
- Named Athlete of the Year
- Received Conference honors
- Led the nation/conference in a recognized statistical category
- Distinguished themselves and the college through major victories, statistical achievements, records, or other substantial accomplishments
- Other Contributors: Coaches, administrators, community members, faculty/staff, and others who have made a significant contribution to the athletic program are also eligible.
Waiting Period: Student-athletes, coaches, or employees must have completed five full academic years after their eligibility, coaching, or employment at the college. Nominees not affiliated as student-athletes or employees have no waiting period. The Selection Committee may waive this requirement in extraordinary situations by a unanimous vote.
Nomination Process:
Any individual may submit a nomination. The official nomination form is available for download online or can be obtained from the Director of Athletics office. All supporting documentation must accompany the nomination form. Nominations will be considered for two years after their submission.
The deadline for submitting nominations for the 2025 class is October 31, 2025.
