Lakeland won 2-1 vs Bergen
The Lakers duo of Sophomore Caden Gragg and Freshman John Velliky faced off against Bergen Community College. Lakeland won the best-of-three series 2-1. Bergen won the first game by outlasting Lakeland and securing 18 eliminations, while Lakeland had 12. In games two and three, Bergen wiped on the drop allowing Lakeland to slow play to pick up 5 eliminations and 6 eliminations respectively. Gragg would lead all eliminations with 21.

Lakeland lost 0-4 vs Lake Michigan
Lakeland freshman John Velikky made his Smash debut taking on Lake Michigan Community College in a best-of-seven series. The Lakers would lose in a four-game sweep to Lake Michigan, but the Velikky kept it close losing two games by only 1 elimination each.

Lakeland lost 1-2 vs WVU-Potomac State
Lakeland's Avery Bryant made his Esports debut against WVU-Potomac State. Bryant went on to win this first game in a best-of-three series 28-14. The Lakers forced two turnovers and scored the go-ahead touchdown on a pick six to seal the win. Potomac State would win the next two games 21-3 and 28-13. The Lakers were able to control the pace of play, but were forced to settle for field goals at the end of the second and third quarters.

Mario Kart 8
Lakeland won 4-3 vs Iowa Western
Lakeland freshman John Velliky faced Iowa Western Community College in a best-of-seven series in the Mario Kart opener. The Lakers dropped the first two races of the series, but Velliky would go on to win four of the next five races to secure the victory. The Lakers would lead 18 of 21 total laps across the seven-race series.
