Lakeland (Caden Gragg & John Velliky) Lost 0-2 vs Florida State College Jacksonville
The Lakers were matched against FSCJ in week 5 of Fortnite. The first drop of the best-of-three series was a short-lived experience. All four competitors were eliminated during the drop, with FSJC surviving the longest they were awarded the tiebreaker point winning game one. Florida State College secured four eliminations in the second game while Lakeland held their own with three. The Lakers lost this series 0-2.

Lakeland (Carmen Ningler-Farone) Lost 0-1 vs Bergen Community College
Lakeland's Ningler-Farone faced off against Bergen in a best-of-three series. The Lakers played three games, drawing the first two matches 1-1 and 1-1. This match came down to the final game as Bergen would hold on to a 2-1 score to win the series.
Lakeland (Till Oppermann) Won 2-0 vs Guilford Tech
Lakeland's Opperman was matched against Guildford Tech for the second straight week playing their second team. The Lakers won back-to-back games 2-0 and 2-1 to win the series.

Lakeland's Velliky faced Ocean County in this week's Super Smash Bros. The Laker's swept the series winning four in a row without dropping a point.

Lakeland (Caden Gragg) Won 4-2 vs Kirtland Community College
Lakeland's Gragg secured the week 5 victory against Kirtland winning four out of six races. The Laker's led 15 of the 18 laps in the series.
Lakeland (John Velliky) Lost 0-4 vs Marshalltown Community College
Lakeland's Velliky lost to Marshalltown in week 5. The Laker's came close in winning the first two races, but a well-placed red shell by Marshalltown prevented the win. Marshalltown would win the next two races leading all laps and coming away with the series victory.
