Following a championship season that saw Lakeland Community College dominate the conference landscape, standout guard Marlon Landingham has been named an NJCAA Division II All-American.
The honor caps a season in which Landingham served as the offensive anchor for a Lakers squad that captured the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) title. He becomes the latest in a line of Lakeland athletes to receive national recognition for their performance on the hardwood.
Landingham led the Lakers in scoring this season, averaging 16.4 points per game. A dual-threat scorer, he shot 46.9% from the field and a blistering 40.9% from 3-point range. His efficiency was a primary factor in Lakeland’s high-powered offense, which averaged 86.0 points per game.
During conference play, Landingham raised his level of production to help secure the OCCAC crown. He averaged 17.9 points against conference opponents and improved his 3-point shooting to 42.3%, leading the Lakers to a 15-1 conference record and a 21-7 overall mark.
The All-American selection follows Landingham’s previous honors this season, including a spot on the 2025-26 NJCAA All-Region 12 team alongside teammate Jadallah Suleiman. Together, the duo led Lakeland to a nearly perfect 12-1 record at home.
