Following a dominant season that saw Lakeland Community College capture the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) championship, the Lakers were represented by Marlon Landingham and Jadallah Suleiman on the 2025-26 NJCAA All-Region 12 men’s basketball team.
Landingham anchored the Lakers’ high-powered offense throughout the year, leading the team in scoring with 16.4 points per game while shooting an efficient 46.9% from the field and 40.9% from beyond the arc. In conference play, Landingham elevated his game even further, averaging 17.9 points per game and shooting 42.3% from 3-point range to lead Lakeland to a stellar 15-1 OCCAC record.
Suleiman made an immediate impact in his debut season, starting 27 of 28 games and averaging 16.2 points per game. Known for his playmaking as much as his scoring, Suleiman led the Lakers with 91 assists (3.3 per game) and maintained a strong presence on the perimeter, contributing significantly to Lakeland's 21-7 overall record.
The Lakers finished the regular season with a nearly perfect 12-1 mark at home and featured one of the most potent offenses in the region, averaging 86.0 points per game.
