The Lakeland men's soccer team traveled to Terra State today to play the Titans and finished with a 3-3 tie. The Lakers started strong with an early 2-0 lead. Byron Perez scored on a penalty kick before Abram Gutierrez netted his first goal of the day on an assist from Nicholas Swinarski.  The Lakers would give one up before the half and led 2-1 at the break. Lakeland would then take a 3-1 lead as Gutierrez scored his second of the game on an assist from Dominik Bruketa. Unfortunately for the Lakers, they then made some mistakes on the small field and the Titans took advantage to finish the game in a draw.

Coach Torres Talks: "We started well but just made some unfortunate mistakes that Terra capitalized on. We will keep working and will definitely be ready for them when we host them in a week and a half. We will regroup now and regain our focus for a tough conference game on Wednesday (Owens)."

Next Up: On Wednesday (10/1), the soccer team will travel to Owens Community College to face the Express in OCCAC action.
