The Lakeland men's basketball team traveled to Owens Community College tonight to face the Express in OCCAC action and came away with a dominating 101-66 victory. In the first half, Lakeland was sparked by sinking ten 3-pointers to take a 60-34 lead at the break. Maxwell Bollin led Lakeland with four 1st half threes as 6 different Lakers hit at least one 3-pointer in the opening half. in the second half, the Lakers continued their strong offensive effort and balanced attack as 10 different players scored while Lakeland cruised to the win.
Lakeland had 5 players finish in doiuble digits as Isaiah McAdams led the way with 18 points. Marlon Landingham and Jadallah Suleiman each scored 13 points while Maxwell Bollin picked up 12 points for the Lakers. Nathan Tadiello finished with 10 points while Micah Blackmon recorded 9 points during the game. Chauncey Brashers finished with 8 points while Juwan Turner added 6 points for the Lakers. Alikai Creque (5 points), Amarion Glenn (4 points), and Taylor Blanton (3 points) also picked up points in the Lakers win.
